Two marshals were struck by a car outside Manchester Superior Court Monday, and at least one was seriously injured. The driver did not stay at the scene.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 410 Center St.
A witness on the scene said the suspect was in court and allegedly already on probation, when they learned there was a warrant for their arrest. At that point they drove off, striking the marshals. One of the marshals went flying into the air. FOX61 could not verify the witnesses account.
Officials with the Judicial Branch said the operator of the car did not stay at the scene.
State Police said the car was reported as a white vehicle with a white spoiler and possible front end damage.
One of the marshals was seriously injured and CPR was performed at the scene before they were both taken to Hartford Hospital.
State and local police are on the scene and are currently looking for the driver.
